Orcyno is a name known not only in his native country Togo (West Africa), but all over the world. Born Sedemon Ekon, Orcyno immersed in the rapologic fever since 1990, a time when Hip- Hop was taking its wings in the sub region. He began with the pseudo MAKKLOR and formed in collaboration with his brother and fellow Moral D, the group 3 FATAL B.

Five years later, the group became THE TREEF. They performed on many stages in Togo such as the French Cultural Center, the Congress Palace of Lome, la Salle Fazao of Hotel 2 Fevrier, and various stadiums. THE TREEF also shared stages with many international artists such as BEENIE MAN, KAYSHA, ELISIO, MAGIC SYSTEM, JACKY RAPON, HARRY DIBOULA, NEG MARRON, PASSI and many others.

In 1996, Orcyno created with a few other rap groups of Togo, the first collective of rappers ever created, THE VIKLU KLAN. In 1999, THE TREEF won for the second time consecutively the second prize of the French Rap festival held in Accra (Ghana).A year later, in 2000, Orcyno won the Rap Underground" competition in Cotonou (Benin). At that moment, he decided to work on his own album.

With the belief that music is a powerful tool that can be used to impact lives positively, Orcyno uses his unique style and brilliant vocals coupled with his proverbial lyrics to convey his message. In December 2003, he blew away millions of fans in HOPE ROW RECORDS mix tape Between 2 Worlds. This boosted his renown on the national plan as well as international. Even though the path was not easy, he never gave up. At last, on May 25th, 2004, he released his own album "L'Envers du Décor" meaning The Other Side of the Picture.

With 30000 albums sold, "L'Envers du Decor" made him a multi-award winner such as Best video clip (Togo Hip Hop Awards), Best Foreigner Hope Artist, Best Foreigner Rap Artist (Senerap), many pre-nominees at KORA African Music Awards (South Africa), AfricaRap, African Hip-Hop Represent (Ouagadougou), and put him on many tours in West Africa.
Relocated to the United States since 2005, the songwriter, singer, and rapper held many shows while working on his second album. 2.2.8 an auto-produced album was finally released on April 24th, 2009. It is a perfect blend of love, hope, the ups-and downs of life, Africa the motherland, and much more. 2.2.8 (his countrys code) is also a way of Orcyno to express his love and gratitude to his home country Togo.
